We are a Direct Primary Care practice in Springfield, Missouri that utilizes a membership model (flat monthly fee) for the primary form of payment. What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care is a model of primary care that involves a direct financial relationship between patients and healthcare providers through a membership arrangement, eliminating the need to submit claims to insurance companies. Direct Primary Care members will quickly see that this can save them money, creating an affordable and accessible opportunity to receive quality healthcare, even if they do not have insurance.
Does this mean I don't need insurance?
No. Insurance, in appropriate situations, is a very wise thing to have. 417 Health & Wellness recommends getting at least a catastrophic or major medical plan to cover you in case an unpredictable health disaster strikes. If you think about it, this is the true use for insurance. You have homeowner’s insurance, so you’re covered if there is a flood or fire. You have car insurance, so you have nothing to worry about (car-wise) if you’re in an accident. Direct Primary Care services are still available without utilizing insurance if needed. 417 Health & Wellness does not utilize insurance for IV infusions (vitamin injections), weight loss plans, or hormone replacement therapy, because these services are not typically covered under most insurance plans.
What if I need to see a specialist or go to the hospital?
At 417 Health & Wellness in Springfield, we pride ourselves on providing the best, comprehensive care possible. This means spending more time with each patient in an effort to get to the source of any health issues. Additionally, we focus on preventive medicine to keep our patients healthy. However, should it be determined that a patient needs to see a specialist, we have developed a network of qualified professionals, many of whom provide care to 417 Health & Wellness patients at a reduced rate for their services. Of course, in the event of an emergency situation, we always recommend that you call 911 or go to the nearest emergency medical facility.
How can 417 Health & Wellness help my business?
As a business owner, we know you want to be able to offer your employees the benefits of health care coverage. However, many times, this is unaffordable for small business owners. 417 Health & Wellness Direct Primary Care memberships are an affordable alternative to traditional health insurance plans, and do not cost the employer anything. That’s right, simply because they are a part of your business, we will offer each employee a discounted membership rate while your business pays in one easy invoice for your team. Some employers find the cost of employee memberships to be so affordable that they offer to pay for them. Do you provide vaccines?
Currently we do not provide vaccines for children but have information about where to get the vaccinations that they need. We utilize the health department for most vaccines which is a more affordable option.
Do you provide aesthetic services?
Yes, we offer comprehensive aesthetic treatments, including neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, PRP therapy, and advanced body contouring with our Evolve system.
